Robbins Keeps Rolling In Edson
The Edson Bull Riders Canada event should be congratulated on their marketing abilities, arena production and attendance...the place was packed and the crowd was fantastic!
The Edson event also included a freestyle bullfight which pitted athletic men against very athletic bovines in a timed production where the bullfighter has to get as close to the bull as possible while showing off his quick feet and agility. Hats off to Travis James for incorporating that into the production to create another level of entertainment for the throngs in attendance.
Coy Robbins, Bawlf, AB continued his hot streak by winning the long round with a solid 84.5 points on Skori Bucking Bulls L4 Trippin Out.
As a result of no rides in the short round, Robbins picked up over $2700.00 cash and a valuable 300 points which moved the Bawlf rider from tenth to fifth pace in the Bull Riders Canada National Standings.
Coy was very thankful to the committee for hosting the Bull Riding, saying "...I would like to send a huge thank you to Travis James for putting on such a great event and doing everything possible to make it a go! Us as bull riders really appreciate what he has done for the Edson Bull A Rama!!"
This was the second win in the last three weeks for the young talent who understands that bull riding takes a lot of preparation throughout the week in order to have consistent success each weekend.

Next up on the Bull Riders Canada schedule will be Alix, AB this coming Friday, May 26th, where bull riding action will be along-side bareback and saddle bronc riding at the inaugural roughstock event.
