If You Like Pina Coladas...

Irricana, Alberta – This one’s for you ladies! Save the date – March 2nd, 2019 for the Third Annual Irricana & District Agricultural Society’s Bright & Gaudy Gala.

The theme for this year’s Gala is “Ladies Night Lu’au”. Ladies, that means you’ll need to dust off those bikini tops and hoola skirts – it’ll be time for some pina coladas, sand, and sun after a long cold Alberta winter.

“We decide on a new theme each year to keep it fun and exciting for the ladies who attend. Being that it’s the Bright & Gaudy Gala, the costumes some of the women come up with are amazing. One of the highlights of the evening is seeing what the ladies walk in wearing! We have women who put a significant amount of time and effort into outfitting their groups, and others who come in regular Gala attire. That’s the beauty of this event. It’s for the ladies, and gives them the opportunity to have fun and unwind how they wish.” says Irricana & District Agricultural Society Vice President, Cathryn Hagel.

The Bull Riders Canada Relief Foundation is thankful to be chosen once again as one of the recipients of funds raised at this charity event. There will also be other Irricana Ag-based charities who will receive a portion of the funds raised.

"BRC Relief Foundation relies solely on financial contributions from events like this one, corporations, and individual offerings. We are honored to receive these funds, as they go a long way in assisting injured bull riders on their journey to making their recovery." says Russell Friend, BRC President and BRC Relief Foundation Director.
