Association Partnerships Continue - Creating Opportunity for Bull Riders

Irricana, Alberta - Bull Riders Canada is pleased to announce the continuation of our Association Partnerships with the BC Rodeo Association (BCRA), the Canadian Cowboys Association (CCA) and the Manitoba Rodeo Cowboys Association (MRCA) for the 2019 Season.

"I think this will be a great partnership with great incentive for the riders, allowing them a chance at multiple finals with less traveling" says Ronny Delarue, CCA Bull Riding Director "...as well as past success with rodeo committees seeing an increase in contestants."

These partnerships permit Members from each respective association to enter the co-sanctioned events on their current Association Membership. BRC Members will have the added bonus of these events allowing them yet another opportunity to make those points and climb up the ranks of the Season VII BRC National Standings brought to you by Nelson Homes. Being that the majority of these co-sanctioned events are one-head, that means double points.

"Working together is always better" BRC President, Russell Friend has said of these continuing partnerships "...giving the bull riders more opportunities is yet another step forward in helping to grow the sport of Bull Riding - and that is the same goal we all share."

The Coors Banquet Bull Riders Canada Season VII presented by Nelson Homes, also welcomes back the BRC Central Tour, which includes select Season VII events taking place in the provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Events participating in the BRC Central Tour are double pointed toward the Finals.

As in previous years, Bull Riders will be required to enter and attend all BRC Central Tour stops to remain in good standing with the Tour. A maximum of 2 events missed (medical or drawn out) will be allowed.

Contestants will earn points for the Tour based on the event results. The Tour Champion will receive points equal to a regular event win at year end, which will count towards the BRC National Standings brought to you by Nelson Homes, for the Finals. The Champion will also receive a trophy jacket sponsored by Crossfire Bullriding Promotions.
